During Navratri,we try to avoid onion & garlic in our menu. So I tried this no onion no garlic Veg Biryani recipe for our Sunday Lunch. I referred this space for the recipe. This paneer biryani is an incredibly flavorful and perfectly filling recipe.

Instructions to make Paneer Biryani (No Onion/garlic):
  1. Boil Water in a vessel.. add spices….add 2 Tbsp Oil
  2. Add Basmati Rice, cooked untill 80% done… Drain the water
  3. In a pan heat oil.. fry paneer untill light brown….take out
  4. In the same pan now fry Potato…. fry till golden brown… take out
  5. Add more 2 Tsp Oil… add all spices..
  6. Add tomato puree, Biryani masala,cumin powder,coriander powder, and Red chilli powder….mix well cook for 2-3 min
  7. Once masala are cooked add Curd….Adjust Salt and Sugar… mix cook for another 2 min
  8. Now add fried paneer and potatoes… mix and coat with masala well….
  9. Add 1/2 Cup water… Now close the lid cook for 5 min over medium flame
  10. After 5 min open the lid… keep half off the paneer and potao aside for layering….
  11. Now for Biryani layering first spread half of rice… 1 tsp ghee…. paneer and potato
  12. Next spread rest off the rice,ghee, Kesar milk, rose water, keora water
  13. Close the lid… let the Biryani cook over low flame for 15 min…
  14. Paneer biryani is now ready to serve…. This is my dad's favorite recipe, and i would like to prepare this recipe on father's day :)
