  15. Prepare 1 tablespoon sugar(optional)

Steps to make Vegetable Upma:
  1. Start off by dry roasting the semolina till light brown(keep the flame low, as it's a time consuming process)
  2. Once done,keep aside
  3. Add ghee and once it's melted,add the cashews
  4. Saute them till light brown and keep aside
  5. Next add the Curry leaves,Hing,urad dal,cumin and mustard seeds,green chillies in the wok
  6. After a few seconds,add chopped onions
  7. Saute on low heat till translucent
  8. Then add the boiled vegetables.saute them for a few seconds, so they are crispy
  9. Add the water next and bring to a boil
  10. Add salt and sugar.Give it a stir
  11. Once boiling add the roasted rava and keep stirring simultaneously to avoid creating lumps(or add the rawa in portions and keep mixing)
  12. Once all the rava is added,reduce heat and cook till the mixture comes together
  13. Finish off by adding Coriander leaves and sauteed cashews
  14. Mix well and take off heat
  15. Serve warm.Enjoy!
