Instructions to make Split yellow moong dal cheela/dhirde:
  1. Take moong dal wash, rinse and Soak for at least 3-4 hours. Cover and keep aside.
  2. Drain the water(do not throw the water).
  3. Now add the dal in a blender and with little water and make a fine paste.
  4. Transfer the paste in a vessel and add all the above ingredients except(except oil) and mix well. Add water and bring it to pouring consistency. (as we make for cheelas)as medium consistency.
  5. Heat a iron tawa, grease well wdh some oil and pour a ladleful of batter and spread. Drizzle some oil from sides and cover with a lid on low-medium flame.
  6. As you see the upper layer dried up, flip on to the other side and cook without lid.
  7. Let the other side cook for 20-25 seconds and done. Remove in a plate.
  8. Serve the moong dal healthy cheelas with sauce, chutney or with curd.
