  1. Heat a pan.add suji and roast.once the rawa become fragrant then switch off the flame and keep it in a plate.
  2. In a pan heat oil.add hing and mustard seeds. When it's crackle add curry leaves,ginger-green chilli, whole red chilli,onion and saute till onion gets softened.
  3. Add all chopped vegetables and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add salt,Turmaric powder,red chilli powder and mix everything well.
  4. Then add 2.5 cups water to this mixture. Stir well. On a medium to high flame,Heat the water and let it come to a rolling boiling. When the water come to a Boil.lower the flame and then add the suji in 4-5 batches with a spoon.quickly stir and mix very well. The suji grains absorb water and thus swell and get cooked.
  5. Cover and allow the suji upma to steam for 2 minutes on low flame. The suji is cooked and the upma is ready.
  6. Add lemon juice and serve hot immediately.
