For preparing dum aaloo masala, first boil the potatoes in a cooker/vessel and remove its skin as Dum aaloo masala can be served with chappathi, poori, boiled rice, dosa, parotta etc and the small. - Turn off the gas at this stage and let it cool down. Then make fine pure.
- Same pan heat the 4 tbsp oil add bay leaf, jeera and pure, stir well. Then add turmeric, coriander, chilli powder, garam masala and salt, cook until oil releases.
- Now add cream again cook until oil releases. Then add curd and saunf powder, stir immediately.
- Add a glass of water and cook until a boil arrives. Now add potatoes and cover the pan with the lid and cook for 10-15 minutes on medium flame.
- Add kasoori methi, cook for a while.
- Serve yummy dum aaloo with roti or paratha.
