  5. Allow it to steam for 3-5 minutes. Ready to serve.

Add some coconut oil or butter to a large pan and heat slightly. So coincidentally my husband started doing this with couscous a couple of months ago and I told him that he had invented something new I love stewed beans. Or Jollof beans as we would call it in Nigeria. Beans cooked in a tomato sauce. Except my sauce is more onions and peppers than tomatoes.
