Steps to make Lauki Rabdi Doughnuts:
- Take water in a Kadhai and boil. After switching off the flames, put bottle guard in it and leave it for 2 -3 minutes.
- Take out bottle guard and rince with water and squeeze all water and keep aside.
- In another pan, boil milk. Now, put bottle guard, sugar, elaichi powder in it.
- After 2 minutes, put custard powder (dissolved in little milk), green food colour and cook until thick consistency.
- Turn off the flames, Cool down a little and mix milk powder lightly. Now rabri is ready and put it in fridge.
- For donuts:
- Nicely cut 4-5 slices in doughnut shape and 4-5 slices in round shape.
- In a pan, put 1 cup water, 2 cups sugar, elaichi powder in it and make 2 strings syrup.
- In a kadhai, put clarified butter and fry bread pieces until they become golden and crispy.
- Now, put in sugar syrup until they soak all the syrup but make sure not to make your doughnuts soggy.
- Final Assembling for Bread Doughnut and Lauki Rabri.
- Take round shaped bread and put rabri in the center and pista powder and cover it with doughnut shaped bread, repeat the same process with all the remaining doughnuts.
