  2. Take 2 cup Thin coconut milk
  3. Make ready 1 cup Thick coconut milk
  4. Get 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  5. Take 3 spoon Ghee
  6. Make ready 1/2 cup Sugar
  7. Make ready 1.1/2 cup Water
  8. Take 1/2 tsp Salt

I have already made white paal kozhukattai, but this one is my favourite. I had been wanting to post this paal kozhukattai recipe since last diwali, somehow other recipes took Paal Kozhukattai Recipe - Ingredients. Paal Kozhukattai is the traditional sweet recipe of Tamilnadu. Add saffron threads to decorate Paal Kozhikattai.

Steps to make Paal kozhukattai:
  1. Take rice flour in a bowl and add in water. Mix well so it forms into a smooth batter.
  2. Heat a nonstick kadai and pour this batter in it. Cook this on low heat stiring constantly so it thickens and leaves the sides of the pan and form into a dough.
  3. Remove the dough into a bowl and let it cool a little. Add ghee to it and knead into a smooth dough.
  4. Apply ghee on your fingers. Take small portions from it and form into tiny little balls.
  5. Now heat thin coconut milk in a kadai. Let it come to a good boil.
  6. Once it starts boiling add the small kolukattai in the milk slowly. The milk should be always boiling when you add the kolukattai. So add the balls slowly, dont add it all once
  7. Let this cook for 5 mins. Now add in sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.Let this simmer for 2 mins.
  8. Now switch off the heat and add the thicker creamier coconut milk. Mix well and serve. - - Serve this warm or at room temp
