  2. Take 1 tsp Ginger garlic crushed

Instructions to make Veg Pulao:
  1. Wash basmati rice and soak it in water 1/2 -1 hr, then drain the water and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil/ghee in a pressure cooker or deep bottom vessel. Once its hot add whole spices - bay leaf, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon stick and fry for sometime.
  3. Add ginger garlic crushed and fry, then add chopped onion and fry till its translucent.
  4. Add washed veggies - green peas, cauliflower, carrot, french beans and stir fry them, then add chopped tomatoes.
  5. Now, add all the dry masala - turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt and cumin powder, stir and fry for a minute.
  6. Add soaked drained rice and fry. Then add paneer cubes and water according to rice and mix well.
  7. If making in pressure cooker close the lid and cook over medium flame for 2 whistles and turn off the flame. OR if making in a deep bottom vessel, let it boil and then close the lid and cook over low flame and let it cook till the water evaporates and it is dry.
  8. Open the lid when its on room temperature. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve by drizzling a tsp of ghee with curd or any type of raita or green chutney.
  9. Perfect dish to make for a lunch or dinner.
  10. Note : you can add any veggies as per your choice not necessary. You can adjust spice as per your taste.

All we need to do is roast the spices quickly and grind it coarsely. You can use it for other curries and gravies instead.
