- After boiling water add soaked rice in it and cook 2-3 minutes. If rice are half cooked then turn of flame and drain water.keep aside.
- In a pressure cooker heat 4 tbsp desi ghee and add 1 tsp Cummin seeds, bay leaf,some cashu nuts and some whole masala's.
- Then add merinated veggies,some fried onions and cook 2-3 minutes. Add 1 cup of water and mix it.
- After 2 minutes make a layer of rice on top of veggies. Sprinkle some fried onions and again make a layer of rice.
- In the top finally Make a layer of rice and add sprinkle some fried onions. Also add soaked saffron threads on the top.
- Place the lid of pressure cooker (whissel remove) and cook for 25 min in low flame. For slow and safe cooking place a tava on gas stove and place the pressure on tava.
- After 25 min our hadrabadi dum biryani is ready. Serve with boondi riata. And with mirch salan.
