But adding coconut oil gives more flavor to the kuzhambu but it is optional. Mor kulambhu is a traditional south Indian yogurt based gravy. More kozhambu is my favorite dish. Now all I need is some paruppusili and I am.
Instructions to make Pineapple Buttermilk Gravy (More Kuzhambu):
- Take a kadai, add Pineapple pieces and water and let it boil.
- Grind the ingredients into a fine paste. Add the pasta and let it boil for 5 minutes.
- Add Turmeric and salt while boiling.
- Temper all ingredients in oil and mix it with the gravy and switch off the flame.
- When the gravy is lukewarm, add buttermilk and gently mix it.
- Now Pineapple Buttermilk Gravy is ready to be served with rice.
I know most of us have our own version of more kuzhambu, and here is mine which I learnt from my mother.
