  6. Heat the tawa on a medium flame. When hot, pour a ladel full of batter and spread it slightly (these dosas are generally thick and soft. They need to be cooked on a gentle heat because it will burn on a high heat due to jaggery).
  7. Flip it, once done (i.e. first side golden brown and the other side with golden-brown spots) transfer it to a plate and serve it immediately with some ghee (optional).
