Instructions to make Rajma rice:
  1. In a pressure cooker heat ghee add cumin seeds saute for few seconds. Add salt and soaked rice, saute for a minute add water and lemon juice. Take a whistle and switch off the gas.
  2. For rajama - In a pan heat ghee. Put cumin and mustard seeds, saute for a while. Now add ginger juliennes saute for 30 seconds then add ginger garlic paste saute till raw smell goes away.
  3. Now add onion puree saute until onions gets translucent. Now add tomato puree saute till oil appears. Now add all dry masala and 1/2 tbsp water saute for a while.
  4. In a mixture jar take 1 tbsp of boiled rajma and 1/2 cup water, grind it in a smooth paste.
  5. When masala leaves the pan add ground rajma and saute well. Now add boiled rajma. Bring it a boil, simmer for a few minutes. Put garam masala powder over it and cover the pan. Turn off the gas.
  6. Delicious rajma gravy is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice and ghee.
