- Soak chana for 4/5 hours
- In a pressure cooker add chana salt and turmeric powder
- Cook till 4/5 than whistle lower the flame for 5 minutes let it simmer
- In a pan add oil add cumin seeds asafoetida powder add onion paste and saute it on medium heat add dry masala
- After 2/3 minutes when masala mix well add tomato ginger green chillies and garlic paste together I have make the paste at a time
- When tomato and onion mixture cook well add chana and on low flame stir them and cook for five minutes
- Take out it in the cooker with remaining water and add water as per your requirement thin or thick gravy for puri paratha you need less gravy for rice you will need watery give one more whistle and let it simmer for few minutes switch off the flame
- As pressure release pour it into serving bowl garnish with fresh coriander leaves serve hot
