- Take a pan, heat it and add ghee. Now add Pinch of asafoetida, cumin seeds. Now add chopped onion and fry it till it become golden brown in colour. Then add chopped capsicum, green chilli and chopped tomato. Now add Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala. Mix them well, cover the pan and fry for 10 mins on medium flame. Stir occasionally.
- When vegetables and spices are fried well add boiled daal and daliya in it. Add salt and water to get required consistency. Take a boil and lower the flame. Cover it and cook for 5 more minutes. Your scrumptious moong daal daliya is ready now. Serve it hot with topping of butter and green coriander leaves. Spice it up with green coriander chutney.
