The muesli will last for at least a month if stored properly. Muesli (pronounced Mews-li) is a fiber- and protein-rich breakfast and brunch option based on raw, rolled oats and other diverse breakfast ingredients.

Steps to make Toasted Muesli:
  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees celsius.
  2. Place the mixed nuts into a food processor and pulse 1-3 times (depending on how chunky you would like your nuts to be).
  3. Place the coconut oil and honey into a saucepan and melt slowly on a low heat stirring.
  4. Add the rolled oats, chopped nuts, seeds, dried fruit, coconut flakes (optional) and cinnamon into a bowl and mix together until completely combined.
  5. Add coconut oil and honey or rice malt syrup and combine.
  6. Pour the combined ingredients into a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the muesli has just started to turn a light golden colour (give it a stir every 5 minutes with a fork so that it cooks evenly).
  7. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
