- Take 1 1/2 cup basmati rice

Dal Khichdi is a light and comforting dish made with rice and moong dal. Moong dal khichdi is easy to digest Unlike other rice-based dishes like pulao or biryani, in khichdi the rice grains are not so separate. You can increase or decrease the water quantity to. - Take rice and dal as per measurement.

- Serve hot with salad,papad and chutneys.
