- Get 250 gm bhindi/okra
- Make ready Salt as per taste
- Take 1 tbspn mustard oil
- Take 1 tspn cumin seeds
- Get 3-4 green chillies chopped length wise
- Get 1 pinch asefetida
- Make ready 1 tspn chat masala
- Prepare 1 tspn garam masala
- Make ready 1 tspn red chilli powder
- Take 1 tspn corriander powder
- Make ready 1/2 tspn turmeric powder
- Take 1 tspn lemon juice
It's crispy and flavorful and it'll absolutely have you wanting more. This crispy Indian okra (bhindi) recipe tastes kinda like spicy fried. Add very little turmeric and salt. Transfer the lot to paper towel to strain.
Instructions to make Chatpati bhindi/okra:
- Wash and nicely dry the bhindi/okra.. Remove its head n tail and chopped length wise..
- Heat oil in a pan add Cumin seeds and asefetida when cumin seeds crackles add chopped bhindi/okra and green chillies saute it for 2 minutes.. Now add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix well.. Cover it n cook it for 5-7 minutes..
- When it's done add lemon juice and garam masala mix them.. Switch off the flame and let it cover for 3-4 minutes.. Now add chat masala.. Chatpati bhindi are ready to serve.. Enjoy it with chappatis..
