  3. When the pressure is released from the cooker, then use a wooden hand blender to mix the dal.
  4. Tadka: Heat ghee in a pan add chopped garlic and onions fry till golden then add hing and chilli powder.. stir and add to the dal when it is hot. Serve hot bhathua saag daal with roti or rice.
