  1. First in a wide bowl add milk powder, maida and baking powder,mix well. Now add ghee and again mix well.
  2. Now add milk (1 tbsp each time) mix lightly and make smooth dough out of this. Do not over knead.
  3. Now grease your palm with ghee or oil and divide the dough into marble-sized small portions and roll it into round crack free balls.(You can place a raisins in center while rolling to a ball).
  4. Meanwhile in a deep pan add sugar, water and cardamom. Keep it on medium heat and stir until sugar dissolved completely. Cook the syrup until it reaches 1/2 string consistency, while stir occasionally.
  5. Heat a wok with ghee/oil, drop prepared Jamun balls in medium hot oil and fry them till nice brown in colour.
  6. Add all fried jamun in sugar syrup and soak for atleast 2 hours before serving.
  7. Delicious milk powder gulab jamun is ready to serve.
