No one will believe it's not take-out! Butter chicken is an Indian dish that originated in Delhi. Small pieces of chicken are marinated with spices, ginger, and garlic. They then get cooked until tender in a creamy, mildly spiced.
Steps to make Butter chicken:
- Take 1/2 cup yogurt in bowl. add salt red chilli powder and garam masala
- Add boneless chicken cubes
- Marinate for 30 minute.
- Add butter in a wok add chicken.
- Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minute or until tender and water evaporate.
- Now add oil in a pan add onion saute for 2 minute add ginger garlic paste cook for 1 minute.
- Add green chillies and spices. add some water cook for 1 minute with spices
- Add tomato puree cover and cook until mix and oil separate.
- Mix half cup cream with half cup milk
- Add in prepared masala.
- Cook until bubbling.
- Add cooked chicken mix and cook for 1 minute
- Turn off the heat
- Garnish with dry fenugreek leaves
