- Get 200 gm paneer cubes
- Prepare 100 gm green peas cell
- Take 1 tbsp grated carrot (gajar)

- Take 1/3 tsp garam masala powder
- Make ready 1 tbsp fresh curd whisked nicely
- Take Salt as required
- Get 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- Get Butter or oil to cook
Matar Paneer is a simple North Indian food recipe prepare with green peas and cottage cheese that are cooked in a creamy tomato based curry. This goes in my recipe book. - In a bowl take peas and paneer. Add and mix a beat of salt, turmeric powder,oil, Kashmiri chilli and rest for 45 min.
- Fry the marinade paneer and peas in a non stick pan lightly in low med flames.
- In a kadai heat oil. Add onion and cook till light brown. Add grated gajar, chilli powder and turmeric powder to get a beautiful colour.
- Mix masala paste, chopped tomatoes, salt and cook in low med flame till the oil separates from masala.
- Add 1 tbsp water, ginger and marinated peas-paneer. Cook lightly for 1 mins.
- Add curd, mix properly and then water to make gravy of your choice. Cover and cook for 1 minutes. Add garam masala and cook 1/2 minute. Switch off the gas.
- Yummy peas paneer is ready. Serve hot with Paratha, roti or rice. - Thanks. š
