- Steam or boil potatoes just until done without making them mushy
- Steam the green peas along with potatoes
- Mash them well n set aside
- Heat oil in a pan n crackle mustard in it then saute ginger garlic paste, green chillies n curry leaves until it becomes to smell good.Off the stove.
- Add red chillie powder, hing, garam masala n turmeric to it.
- Transfer mashed potatoes,peas n salt to it,mix everything well.Cool this.
- Now arrange three bread slices on a chopping board.
- Place the potato mix over three bread slices n cover each slice with other.
- Heat oil in a pan for shallow or deep frying.
- While the oil heats make batter in another bowl n mix baisan, ajwain, red chillie powder, salt n turmeric.
- Pour water to it just to make batter, not very thick n not very thin.
- Check if the oil is hot by dropping little amonut of batter
- Place each cut slice in the batter n drop it in the oil gently
- Fry bread pakoras until golden brown from both the sides on medium heat.
- Flip when one side is golden n fry.
- In the same way fry the remaining pakoras
- Drain them on a kitchen tissue.
- Serve bread pakora with green chutney or sauce.
