- Wash and Soak Dal and cook it for 5 mins. Dont over cook it.
- When dal gets cool down give a pulse in mixer.
- Assemble all dry masalas in one bowl. It will be easy and masalas will not get burnt.
- Now keep one kadai. Add one tablespoon of oil when it gets heated add laung and all dry masalas mix well for 30 seconds and add dal into it.
- Mix it properly and let it cool completely.
- Now take one thali or parath. Put maida and add salt and oil.
- Make very soft dough and cover it with wet cloth and keep it for 15 mins.
- Make small equal balls of the dough. Roll it about 6 inch. Put dal stuffing into it.
- Bring the ends together and take out the extra dough and roll it with soft hands.
- Keep oil for frying. Flame should be very low for best results. Keep flipping in between and fry till it's golden brown.
- Serve hot with green and sweet tarmind chutney.
