- Take tadka pan,add the ghee and dry fruits in the payasam.
This is very healthy payasam and is made during festivals. If you roast the moong dal and make payasam the entire house would be spread with divine aroma and the payasam tastes awesome. Pasi paruppu payasam, as it is known in Tamil Nadu, is made with cooked moong dal, jaggery and milk as the main ingredients. Jaggery sweets are believed to be healthier than white sugar sweets and.
