Lauki Chana Dal is a nutritious recipe that combined the Bottle Gourd and lentils making it a perfect dish for a wholesome lunch or dinner.   1. Clean and wash lentil then boil it by adding salt and water. Cook on low flame and water almost dry.
  2. Peel and wash Lauki and cut in small pieces dip in water.
  3. Take oil in pan add oinon, ginger garlic paste and stir well.
  4. Add chopped tomato
  5. Add dry ingredients and Mix well.
  6. Add Lauki, chicken cube yakhni and green chilli and mix well and add water and cover and cook on medium flame for 15 minutes or until Lauki is soft.
  7. Now Lauki is ready add boiled lentil.
  8. Add kasuri Methi and mix well and dam for 2 minutes.
  9. Now bottle gourd and lentil is ready. Add fresh coriander leaves.
  10. Serve hot with roti or naan.

Lauki chana dal is a great way of having dudhi/bottle gourd. Especially if you have bigger households. This curry ensures everyone gets a good bowl of curry. Saute add the drained soaked chana dal, bottle gourd. Add turmeric, red chilly powder, salt, corainder.
