  1. Take 1/3 cup moong dal
  2. Get 1/3 cup rice
  3. Get 1 tablespoon deshi ghee
  4. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon jeera
  5. Take 1 small tej patta
  6. Take 1/2 inch dalchini
  7. Take 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  8. Take 2 cloves
  9. Get 2 green elaichi
  10. Prepare 1 medium size tomato chhopd
  11. Take 1 medium size onion chopped
  12. Get SALT to taste
  13. Take 1/2 teaspoon red chilli
  14. Get 2 green chilli chopped
  15. Take 1 cup mixed veggies chopped
  16. Prepare 1 pinch hing
  17. Get 1/2 teaspoon haldi powder
  18. Make ready 2 cup water
  19. Take Coriander leaves chopped
  20. Get 1 teaspoon garam Masala

Steps to make Moong dal masala Khichdi:
  1. Take rice and moong dal in a bowl. Rinse with water for 3 time. Dream and keep aside. Also chhop the veggies and keep aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pressure cooker.
  3. Add the following garam Masala and jeera and all sabut Masala. Add the chhopd onion and Saute them till then turned translucent.
  4. Add the ginger garlic paste. stir and saute till the raw Aroma of ginger garlic goes away.
  5. Add tomato and green chilli. saute for a min or two.
  6. Then add mix veggies alone with turmeric powder and red chilli powder and hing for a more spicy khichdi, saute for a min
  7. Add the rice and moong dal with with the rest of all ingredients
  8. Add the water. Need to khichdi.
  9. Sesan with salt pressure cook for 14 or 15 minutes. For 7 To 8 whistles.
  10. When the pressure falls down on its own, remove the lid.
  11. Serve vegetables Masala khichdi hot drizzled with a teaspoon of ghee if you prefer. Accompany a side salad raita pickle aur a plain curd by the side.
  12. You can garnish with a few chopped coriander leaves if you want.
  13. Ready to eat Masala khichdi.
