  1. Prepare 2 medium sized Potatoes piled
  2. Take 1 cup green peas shelled
  3. Make ready 200 gm cottage cheese cutted into cube
  4. Prepare 2 medium size onion paste
  5. Prepare 1 cup fresh tomato pure
  6. Make ready 2-3 tez pata
  7. Get 4 piece green cardimom
  8. Prepare 1 daal chini
  9. Make ready 4 piece cloves
  10. Make ready 1 tbs Ginger and garlic paste
  11. Get 3-4 tbs oil
  12. Prepare 1 tbs cumin seeds
  13. Get to taste Salt
  14. Make ready 2 tbs kasturi methi
  15. Make ready 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  16. Make ready 2 tbsp coriander powder
  17. Take 1 tbsp Kashmir laal mirch powder
  18. Take 1/4 tsp kalimirch powder
  19. Prepare 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder
  20. Get 2 tbsp roasted peanut paste or cashew paste

It goes well with chapatis or rotis. The recipe shared here is Punjabi aloo paneer. Aloo Matar Paneer has lot of variations. However chosen my own variation as usual.

Steps to make Aloo Matar Paneer:
  1. Heat oil in a pan when oil is hot put cottage cheese and fry till golden brown and keep aside in a warm water.
  2. Now in a same pan put cumin seeds, tez pata, daal chini, green cardimom and sauteed till slightly brown.
  3. Now put onion paste and keep string till onion gets slightly brown and than add fresh tomato pure and cashew paste and mixwell.
  4. Keep the flame slow and keep string. Now add kashmiri laal mirch powder, kalimirch powder,garam masala powder, kasture methi,salt to taste, turmeric powder and coriander powder mixwell add some water and keep string on slow to medium flame.
  5. When oil is separated than put green peas, potatoes and cottage cheese mix well.
  6. Now put half gilass of water stir well and cover the pan and cook till vegetables r done.
  7. Check the thickness of gravy and keep the flame off and served hot with roti, naaan, paratha or rice.

This Aloo Matar Paneer has tomato puree, almond paste and made in Indian spices. Add cup of water and stir until water mixed in. This delicious aloo matar paneer curry also goes well with tandoori roti or plain naan or butter naan. Aloo matar paneer couples very well with any Indian bread like parantha, roti, poori, phulka or even naan and tandoori roti. Paneer dishes are quite popular among the vegetarians.
