The ingredients needed to make Khajoor/dates ki chutney:
  1. Prepare 20 Dates
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup Jaggery
  3. Prepare pinch Salt
  4. Take 1 tsp Jeera powder
  5. Prepare 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  6. Prepare 1 tsp Kala namak
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup Water

The jaggery, cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder gives it a sweet and spicy kick while ginger-garlic-sesame seeds tempering makes it more aromatic and zingy. This sweet tangy dates and tamarind chutney makes snacks like samosas and chaat taste even better. In a blender blend Dates, jaggery, tamarind pulp and water to a smooth thin paste. Heat a pan and transfer the mixture to the pan.

Steps to make Khajoor/dates ki chutney:
  1. Take fresh dates. Wash and deseed the dates. Now in a pot take water and add jaggery melt it by heating into this water add dates add salt, red chilli powder, Kala namak, zeera powder.
  2. Cook untill all dates are mashed and water dries up leaving thick paste behind.. Tada chutney is ready to go…..

Remove the stalk and seeds from the dates and. Remove the shell from cardamom and crush the seeds. In a sauce pan combine the water with tamarind, sugar, salt, black Add dates, raisins, and ginger, bring to boil and turn off the heat. Let it sit for about an hour before serving. Chutney is served at room temperature.
